Conductor and comedian Rainer Hersch ‘the world’s first classical music hooligan’ (The Sun) brings together a host of stars for a hilarious evening of April Fool’s jokes and hoaxes in support of Help Musicians UK (formerly The Musicians Benevolent Fund).
The stellar pranksters include Evelyn, Zeb Soanes (voice of Classic FM and formerly master of the BBC R4 Shipping Forecast), improvising genius ‘Harry the Piano’ and star baritone James Oldfield – not forgetting the virtuosos of the English Chamber Orchestra. Evelyn will be murdering ’The Swan’ from ‘Carnival of the Animals’ with a specially devised percussion instrument, as well as performing Vivaldi on the Vibraphone.
