Berklee Teachers on Teaching (BTOT) has invited Evelyn to talk to their vibrant gathering in recognition of her accomplishments and vision as a percussionist, composer and educator. Evelyn will be reflecting on we can challenge the boundaries of what we already know and how we can seek to inspire the student and artist in all of us.

Every two years the Magdalene College, Cambridge organizes a Festival of Ideas series around a shared theme. The 2014-15 theme is ‘Sound’. The college invites speakers from a variety of disciplines, including scientists, musicians and linguists. Evelyn has been invited to give her unique insight on the subject of sound.

OneTrackMinds is a live-storytelling event – a cross between Desert Island Discs, The Moth and TED Talks.
