A World Premiere with BIPO in Istanbul

On the 28th of February Evelyn travelled to Istanbul for the fourth time, with the last time being in 2015. The first time Evelyn ventured to Istanbul was in 1993 giving a recital with pianist Phillip Smith. This time however, Evelyn returned to Istanbul to perform with BIPO (Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra). Kamran İnce was the featured composer and conductor, presenting the World Premiere of his percussion concerto and orchestral pieces.

Evelyn has kindly shared a short video giving an incredible insight into how many rehearsals she had in preparation for the World Premiere. She also shares some of the instruments she used for the performance, including an instrument she had not played before.
