Wow… what a whirlwind! Two jam-packed days dedicated to music, a journey that I’m ecstatic to have shared with my mum, Isobel, and my first childhood percussion teacher, Ron Forbes. Here’s a sneaky glimpse at what was happening behind the scenes, including some official photos and some candid snaps courtesy of my team. I hope you enjoy them!

Getting together with Ron for the first time in more than 25 years was definitely one of the highlights!
On the first day in Stockholm I was invited to participate in the Polar Talks – a very interesting TED-like set up – where I discussed How to Truly Listen.

Having mum and Ron at the ceremony made an already special moment overwhelming. I can’t begin to describe how emotional I felt. Peter Sellars’ wonderful smile was just what I needed to keep myself together.

I had a wonderful time, surrounded by people that show the same respect and appreciation for music as I do. It was a great honour to meet His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia together with their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland.
