Percussionist extraordinaire Evelyn Glennie is joined by a group of music-making friends to take us on a journey from the dualities of Western thought to the peaceful, holistic unity of Eastern contemplation. En route we will be treated to virtuosic renditions of Scarlatti’s sonatas for two marimbas, Indian-inspired improvisations and musical utterances inspired by Zen aphorisms.
